The investigated is the son-in-law of alias Monoleche, a historical paramilitary leader with great power in the South American country / He is accused of trafficking large quantities of drugs to Europe and laundering their profits

The Colombian National Police, in an operation carried out in the city of Medellín, arrested Christopher Neils, alias Dips, a drug trafficker of English origin and claimed through Interpol by the British Justice and who, according to Colombian authorities, would be the agent who would operate on behalf of the Gulf Clan to send large quantities of cocaine to England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. It will be recalled that a few dates ago other European narco agents were arrested, in this case Italians, in the same city of Medellín.

The operation was carried out thanks to information from the United States that reached their counterparts in Colombia and pointed to the presence of the kingpin, considered one of the “invisible” because of his ability to act as a broker from the background, without attracting attention. In fact, he was arrested on a public road when he was walking his dogs.
The relevance of the operation is also given by his contacts, since the one now arrested is the son-in-law of alias Monoleche, former head of the United Peasant Self-defense Forces (AUC), one of the paramilitary groups that gave rise to the Gulf Clan. In fact, the president of Colombia himself, Gustavo Petro, echoed the arrest in his public accounts.

England will accuse him not only of international narcotics trafficking, as well as money laundering through real estate movements.
