I've seen a recipe for preparing methamphetamine just by crossing phenylacetone with just another compound and then crystallizing the solution

Phenylacetone is also known as P-2-P and BMK. I'm not aware of something that does that. If it was that easy people would do that. Who knows though? What's the reagent?
