i'm aware THC is the main psychoactive chemical and CBD is more medicinal, but if you're interested in weed for like, pain relief or something, maybe look into extracting CBD from Trema? Neto may not have published his results yet, but if/when he does, that could be super useful (i think)

google gave me mixed results when i was looking into helichrysum.. some sources say it doesn't feel like anything while others say it can cause uncontrollable laughter and ecstasy.. something that's consistent across the board is that it's used in indigenous ceremonies, so maybe it's something you guys would want to look into?

Good information. This is interesting seriously. It makes no sense to extract, because there are commercial varieties and production methods. But other plants, except for cannabis, which contain cannabinoids, are good studies. Share this if you have more information.
Yes. This is interesting for study. I can say that this is not the only plant that contains cannabinoids and does not belong to the family of cannabis. In any case, your information is very useful.

Unfortunately, CBD does not help pain.
When the CBD craze began and the farm bill of 2018 legalized hemp, plenty of companies made a bunch of claims that were bullshit.

It helps with childhood epilepsy.
It helps with inflammation
And it helps with anxiety allegedly although I tried with no results.

Yup sucks that it doesn't work, tried it, does nothing. You need thc+cbd for any noticable effects in my experience.

In high doses it can be effective. We get a conversion in the stomach in an mild acidic conditions, which leads to a partial formation of psychoactive noids. In addition, thermal conversion is possible without the use of solvents and acids, when we obtain THC isomers.
