While investigating a criminal organization, police received information about suspicious activity at a house in the Santa Cruz area. The location was determined after exchanging data with teams from the Nordeste de Amaralina police station.
Thus, on May 15, civilian police officers raided a house in the Santa Cruz neighborhood of El Salvador and dismantled a laboratory used for processing cocaine. In addition, law enforcement officers seized 50 kilograms of the drug, valued at $1.5 million. No arrests were reported by police.
They also found a hydraulic press, two white drums of chemicals, a blender, stickers, plastic containers and other accessories used in the production of the drug.
All seized material will be turned over to the Tech Police Department. At this time, the investigation is continuing in order to locate and arrest those involved in the production of the drug.
