Methylone to MDMA

I was wondering, is possible to make MDMA from methylone? First if i change ketone group to hydroxyl in symilar reaction like methacathinone to epherdine by using NaBH4. In second step reduction this group in symilar reaction like in ephedrine to methamphetamine for by using iodine and red phosphorus. I'm asking beacuse in my country is easy to get 2-Bromo-3',4'-(methylenedioxy)propiophenone (Cas: 52190-28-0) or 3',4'-(methylenedioxy)propiophenone (Cas: 28281-49-4).

In theory, you can, but why change the already good product? You will lose a lot in this way.

A while back a guy whomhad some good ideas said to the board. Bk-mdma can be converted to mdma with a wolfe-kischner reduction. I spent a long timentrying to disprove that, but i couldnt ( it was flatline dx whatever)
