October, 2018 || Largest Meth Lab Dismantled in South Australia

Police in Australia found one of the largest meth labs. They seized 120 kilograms of powder, as well as 11 kilograms of crystal meth. Law enforcers also arrested two men.

During a search of an apartment building in Morphett Vale, Adelaide, Serious and Organized Crime officers found one of South Australia's largest methamphetamine laboratories. They apprehended Houshang Naroye, 36, of Seaview Downs, and Shahram Kamali, 40, who recently arrived in the country on a U.S. passport.

Members of the Drug Enforcement and Organized Crime Task Force dismantled the lab. According to experts, clandestine drug laboratories pose a significant danger to society. Typically, corrosive, flammable and toxic chemicals are used in drug production, often leading to fires and explosions.

The total street value of the seized substances has not yet been confirmed, and other chemicals and powders found in the house have not yet been analyzed.

Judge Schammer described it as a simple but highly sophisticated methamphetamine lab that had no odour, which made it harder to detect.

Initial bust - October 2018
9 years jail for one of the men who was flown in from United States to oversee the operation.
Two other sentenced to more than 8 years.
Apparently the situation only came to light when police intercepted a phone call.

I wonder why they intercepted the phone call. Anyway never talk about "such things" on services you don't trust. I for my part wouldnt even trust Wickr let alone Signal, WhatsApp etc.

it was just a normal Psuedo/Hypo/Iodine setup with a 3 thousand litre raector, the place had carbon air filters similar to those used in cannabis grow houses, also they bubbled the gas that is expelled through water which stops odours very well.

Guerrilla mail is something that comes to my mind. Though in relation to matters of call. I would say the statement was made more in the context of duty. With what should be a war on drugs well on its way. It only leads me to believe the operation was conducted on someone else's territory.

Yeah i looked for it... The guy pleaded guilty pretty quick. I didnt find any court document detailing nything..

As for the phone call.. during that period. They where making soo much meth without the supplly chain to move it. Soo what do they do.. they drop the price..i think it droped. Like. 1/3 to half what was normL mkt. In sydney.. for ppl outside of australia.. the. Generial premise. Is. Sydney is the cheapest then melb .. then. Qld and. Perth being the. Most. Expensive.

Most of the prices are normaly multiple of sydney price.

people started flying interstate to pick up. Price were dropping.. like crazy cheapest meth prices and Consumption flies up wastr water data.

You dont need a phone call to figure it out . It caused soo much noise. The phone calls probarbly a throw off.
