I'm looking for lithium metal otc in the us, for some small/medium scale experiments.

I know AA batteries have about 1 gram, but are there any other batteries that have lithium metal that are common and can get say 10 or more grams from one?

Any other sources, in general?

I appreciate it, however I'm looking for in-person things I can buy, not order. US based as well

Lithium metal is rare in common batteries; most use lithium-ion, not pure lithium. Primary lithium batteries like CR or BR types have lithium metal but in small amounts, usually under a gram each. Lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) batteries have more lithium but are less common and may be restricted. For 10+ grams, you’d need many cells. Other sources include surplus or industrial suppliers, but they’re often regulated. Handle lithium metal carefully due to its reactivity. Always follow legal and safety guidelines when sourcing or extracting lithium metal.
