Les problèmes liés au nitroéthane en Europe ont commencé en 2007, puis tous les pays ont progressivement imposé des restrictions sur ce précieux réactif. Aujourd'hui, deux solutions s'offrent à nous : chercher des fournisseurs dans des pays où la législation est faible et l'industrie chimique développée, comme le Bangladesh, ou synthétiser de manière autonome, comme nous l'avons proposé.

Try and figure out. Share us your research data. In theory, it's quite weak base and it would be not enough to eliminate -OH group.

has anyone done the microwave version of this synthesis, curious as to the outcome?

This is an effective method. I irradiate at maximum power in short time intervals so that the mixture does not have time to boil.

that is the key, stopping the irradiation just prior or as soon as you see 1 tiny bubble rise up, did this method with very good success, simple but very effective. would be very interested if there's other synths that can be done using the microwave??
