Long Time ago i was making Speed from a-oil with sulfuric acid and methanol.
First i created 2 mixtures:
1. Acid+methanol
2. A-oil+methanol
After freezing both i mixed them together while stirring.
My question: Is it better Not to mix acid with methanol first and just add it to the Aoil-methanol directly? Or ist there not really a difference?
Cause i am not sure in what way the sulfuric acid reacts with the methanol and If it has an affect on the end result.
