We will write the quantity after, in large crystals. But based on the used amount of acid there about 100 g of product in the form of salt. Expect a photo of a recrystallized product, this part will be supplemented in the same simple format as synthesis. For crystallization, a refrigerator (~+4*C) is used, you will soon see why and I will give explanations. Washing with water is desirable, we used it but did not write here. Soda was not used for some reason to avoid hydrolysis of ethyl acetate. It will be more difficult to separate. Yes,
the 2b4m and 400 ml of ethyl acetate is mixed in the bottle.
Methylamine is added to the vessel (be careful when doing it, if you do not have a lot of space in vessel and you transfer chaoticly the liquid it can really explode very soon becasue of pressure released during reaction. It should be transfered slowly on the glass wall. For the 1st 5 minutes open a liittle lid every 10-15s.

for the 100g 2b4m the hbr 48% is estimated 35g


The powder obtained after its filtered and dried can be instantly crystalised in hot solvent (water, gradually decrashing temp of oversaturated solution). Simply crystals are taken out at 40c then its reapeated. (in the case we do have a little discolors).

If you do start like in the guide there will be too much impurities to crystalise it right away.
