Can anyone give advice on solvents for the chromatography?

This seems to be the most important step, to separate any impurities, so any advice would be great.

Say size of column for some set amounts, maybe a few grams, solvents, tips and tricks, the works would be ideal.

Thank you.

"...was chromatographed over alumina with elution employing a 3:1 C6H6/CHCl3 mixture,..."

Here you go. Copy n paste from tihkal

I am sure that you would want a small column for L since it's such a small amount

I'm not sure about how to differentiate between iso-LSD, and LSD. I'm sure they some out sperate, and all shulgin says is:
", and the collected fraction stripped of solvent under hard vacuum" he doesn't denote which fraction is which...I don't know if iso-LSD reacts to black light...

Appreciate that, forgot tihakl covered lsd.

Wonder if benzene could be replaced, despite it being such a pleasant substance. It's made easily enough though.

I will ask around, and look around, and see what I can dig up, and post here.

I also heard of sephadex as a chromatography adsorbent specifically for LSD seperation
